Teaching has been part of my life from the beginning. As a child, I watched my mother — a dedicated teacher — prepare her lessons with passion. One evening, while she cooked dinner, she asked me to write down her lesson notes as she dictated them. I didn’t know it then, but that simple moment planted the seed of my own teaching journey.

Years later, after moving to Italy, I saw many English speakers struggle with everyday Italian because the foundations were never taught clearly. Many lessons assumed learners already knew basic vocabulary — body parts, utensils, family members, and everyday items — when in reality many were starting from zero.

From these experiences, GENEVIEVE DYNASTY was born: a space where Italian is taught gently, simply, and directly in English, giving every learner the confidence to grow from the ground up.
